Estimated monthly price
One-off install / setup
Total over contract
What affects the price
- Location and distance to the nearest fibre point of presence. This is usually the single biggest factor.
- Speed and bearer size. Higher bandwidth and a larger bearer for future growth both add cost.
- Contract length. 36 and 60 month terms cut the monthly price and often waive standard install.
- Install and excess construction charges (ECCs) where new ducting, digging or wayleaves are needed.
- Add-ons such as a backup line, enhanced SLA, a managed router or extra static IP addresses.
- Provider and local network competition. More carriers near your premises means keener pricing.
What is included with a leased line
- Symmetrical upload and download speeds, delivered at the rate you pay for.
- Dedicated, uncontended bandwidth that is never shared with other businesses.
- An SLA-backed uptime guarantee, typically 99.9 percent up to 100 percent with resilience.
- Fix-time guarantees, usually 4 to 6 hours as standard and faster on an enhanced SLA.
- Unlimited usage with no caps and no peak-time slowdown.
- Static IP addresses, a managed router and firewall, or a cheaper wires-only option.
- Optional backup failover and a scalable bearer for easy speed upgrades later.
