Hyperoptic Background
Hyperoptic was established in 2011 as an internet services provider. They have set up their own network with the aim of catering for the 21st century. Their fibre optic cables run all the way into the buildings that they serve making their service more unique and one of the fastest broadband providers in the UK.
Their business model entails ensuring a minimum amount of uptake in a building in order to connect the building to its network. You can check if your building is connected to the Hyperoptic network on their website and if it is not connected you can register your interest in being connected and Hyperoptic will assess their ability to serve the building and conduct a survey.
They will inform you of whether they are able to supply with business and whether they need further uptake in your building to connect the building to the network.
Switching To Hyperoptic Business Broadband
If you want to switch to Hyperoptic then you will need to check the availability of Hyperoptic network in your area, either online or over the phone. If your area is connected then you may be able to switch to them.
However, if you are in shared building there might be a minimum level of uptake before they will connect the building, you can check your building on their website to see if you can connect to them and register your interest in switching to them.
Hyperoptic Business Broadband Installation
Before your installation takes place or a contract is agreed your location will be assessed for network access and the building will be surveyed for installation issues. Permission will be required from the building owner also. Once these actions have taken place the connection will be ordered, and the installation will take place on the agreed date in both the building and the street if required.
