IDNet Background
IDNet is a UK based broadband and phone services provider. Their services have global internet connectivity through their exchanges in London, Frankfurt, Stockholm, Paris, and Amsterdam.
IDNet does not oversubscribe their services or traffic shape which means they can guarantee maximum throughput and low latency. When a circuit reaches 70% utilisation, the capacity of that circuit is increased to provide sufficient capacity.
IDNet also back up their services through duplicating their external circuits to prevent issues from an outage.
Their internal network is also protected through the tandem deployment of using double the number of routers and switches, this enables the system to automatically switch to the other item in the event of a failure to prevent disruption to the services.
Switching To IDNet Business Broadband
If you want to switch to IDNet you can order their packages online or over the phone. Switching typically takes up to 10 working days. An activation charge will be taken when you place the order, the amount varies depending on the package and services you select.
IDNet Business Broadband Installation
IDNet aims to install their broadband services within 10 working days, however, it may take longer if you don’t already have a broadband line installed. If you are migrating from another supplier an engineer visit will probably not be needed. If a new line is required, then an engineer will need access to your property to install the line.
